Chris Eyhorn is our co-founder and CEO. A proven technology entrepreneur, Chris started DroneSense in 2015 based on his vision that situational awareness provided by drones would play an increasingly important role in the future of public safety.
A native Texan and graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Chris recognized an opportunity in creating automated solutions for software testing and co-founded ArtOfTest in 2007. ArtofTest focused on making the complex domain of automated testing more productive and accessible with some of the company’s pioneering work resulting in a US Patent.
After a merger with Telerik in 2010, Chris became the EVP of Telerik’s business division and led Telerik’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) suite. Leading this product category, Telerik’s ALM was charted on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant as “Visionary”during this period of time. Following the 2014 acquisition of Telerik by Progress Software (NASDAQ:PRGS), Chris decided to pursue his passion for aviation and technology.
Chris has always had a passion for aviation and obtained his private pilot license in 2010. He enjoys traveling with friends and family, serving up his BBQ and spending quality time with his daughters.
